Cost of Long-Span Cable Trays in Mongolia

The cost of long-span cable trays in Mongolia varies widely depending on material, type, and supplier, typically ranging from $50 to $200 per meter for industrial-grade trays. Pricing OverviewLong-span cable trays are designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, supporting large cable runs with fewer supports, which reduces installation time and material costs. Prices depend on: Material: Galvanized steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.

Galvanized steel is common and more cost-effective, while stainless steel offers higher corrosion resistance. Type: Ladder, perforated, or channel trays. Ladder trays are widely used for heavy cables, while perforated trays are lighter and allow better ventilation.

Length and Span: Standard lengths are 2. 4–6 meters. Longer spans reduce the number of supports but may increase unit cost due to structural reinforcement.

Customization: Special widths, load capacities, or surface treatments (e.g., hot-dip galvanization) can increase costs.

Estimated Costs

Standard long-span ladder cable tray (galvanized steel, 2. 4–3 m length): $50–$80 per meter. Heavy-duty long-span tray (custom width, 6 m length, high load capacity): $120–$200 per meter.

Accessories and fittings: $5–$20 per piece depending on type and size.

Additional Considerations

Shipping and import: If trays are imported to Mongolia, shipping and customs duties can add 10–30% to the base cost. Installation: Long-span trays reduce the number of supports, potentially lowering labor costs. Bulk orders: Suppliers often offer discounts for large projects, which is common in industrial or mining applications.

Conclusion

For a Mongolian project, expect industrial long-span cable trays to cost roughly $50–$200 per meter, with final pricing influenced by material, type, length, and supplier. For precise quotes, contacting local suppliers or international manufacturers who ship to Mongolia is recommended, as they can provide customized pricing based on project specifications.
