Drill holes and insert anchors or expansion bolts with rubber sealing washers for waterproofing. Secure the box using stainless steel fasteners and ensure it is level and flush against the wall. For internal components, use mounting plates or DIN rails to fix sockets and terminal blocks securely.

Step 5: Install Cable Entries and GlandsPierce pre-molded knockout holes for cable entry. Use cable glands sized to compress 10–15% of the cable diameter to prevent water ingress. Rear or bottom entry can reduce water tracking; unused knockouts must be sealed with blanking plugs.

Apply weatherproof sealant around cable entries and box edges for additional protection. Step 6: Connect Electrical WiringConnect cables to the sockets and terminal blocks according to the design diagram. Ensure firm, reliable connections to avoid loose contacts or virtual connections.

Maintain proper grounding and insulation. Step 7: Test the InstallationConduct electrical tests including insulation, grounding, and current testing. Check for waterproof integrity by inspecting gasket compression and ensuring no gaps exist around cable entries or the door.

Step 8: Final Protective MeasuresClose the box securely and ensure latches maintain uniform pressure on the gasket. Place warning signs if necessary and schedule regular inspections to maintain waterproof performance. By following these steps, you ensure that the waterproof sockets in your distribution box remain safe, reliable, and protected from moisture, extending the lifespan of your electrical installation.
